The First Rounds of the 2014 Essex County Baseball and Softball Tournaments were completed on Saturday. In baseball the top six seeds advanced but then there were upsets. Look to our Baseball bracket, found under our “Tournaments” tab for the results. In softball the 5th, 7th and 8th seeds were beaten. In Baseball the Quarterfinals move to this Thursday, May 4th while the Softball tpurnament’s next round is scheduled for Saturday.
