Seton Hall Prep, powered by an eleven-run third inning, topped the Millers of Millburn by a score of 12-6 in the Championship Final of the Greater Newark Tournament. The Essex County baseball championship was played under gray skies and occasional drizzle at the Bears and Eagles Riverfront Stadium in Newark. Early morning showers delayed the game from a noon to a 12:35pm start but the crowd was not disappointed in the hitting barrage shown by both teams. This was the 3rd consecutive win for the Pirates.
