The seedings have been released for the 2013 Essex County Boys Volleyball Tournament. The 12 team field has the champion of the last two tournaments, Livingston, as the top seed. The 2012 finalist, Belleville is the second seed. Bloomfield, who had won the tournament in 2010, is seeded third. West Essex is 4th, followed by Montclair (5), Barringer (6) and North 13th St. Tech (7). Number eight Golda Och Academy will face ninth seeded Science Park int the First Round, Finishing out the field shall be East Side (10), Millburn (11) and East Orange Campus (12). The bracket for the tournament may be found under our gray “Tournaments” tab, linked to 2013 spring tournaments. The First Round will be completed by Saturday, April 27, the quarterfinals by Wednesday, May 1st and the semifinals, at the higher seed this year, will be played on Saturday, May 4th. The finals are scheduled to be competed at Livingston on Friday evening, May 10th at 7pm.
