At Essex County College on Tuesday evening the Semifinal Round of the Essex County Boys Basketball Tournament was played out. In the first game Seton Hall Prep, the top seed, eliminated fifth seeded Caldwell. The nightcap saw Central, number 3, upset the second seed, Immaculate Conception.
The championship game is scheduled for 3:30pm on Saturday, February 19th at Essex County College as the second game of a doubleheader with the girls’ championship. The girls’ game will start at 1pm.
Tickets are only sold at the door. The ticket for the doubleheader is $10 for adults and $5 for students and senior citizens. Please bring your face mask as they must be worn inside the building.
