Four teams have advanced out of the Preliminary Round to reach the First Round of the Essex County Girls Soccer Tournament. Newark Academy (9) defeated Bloomfield Tech (16) and will travel to face West Essex (8). The 13th seed, Bloomfield up-ended Mt St Dominic (12) and will play at Nutley (5). Columbia (10) won over Belleville (15) and travels to Millburn (7) while West Orange (11) moved past Science Park (14) and will play at Caldwell (6).
