Track Relays set for Jan 2 at Ocean Breeze

The Essex County Indoor Boys & Girls Track and Field Relays are scheduled for a 4PM start on Wednesday, January 2nd. The meet shall be competed at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex on Staten Island. Spectators are welcome, there is an admission fee of $5 for adults, $2 for students, small children and seniors. The address is 625 Father Capodanno Blvd.

Here is the Order of Events for the meet.

Girls followed by Boys

4:00 PM

  1. Shuttle Hurdles (on the infield at the same time as the lap race begin)
  2. Distance Medley (1200 – 400 – 800 – 1600) ON the oval at the same time as the Shuttle Hurdles)
  3. Sprint Medley (200 – 200 – 400 – 800)
  4. 800 Meter Relay
  5. 3200 Meter Relay
  6. Freshmen 3200 Meter Relay
  7.   1600 Meter Relay
