Rain suspended the Essex County Softball Tournament’s championship game in the bottom of the first inning on Saturday evening. The score was Cedar Grove 3, Mt St Dominic Academy 3 when play was halted.
The game will resume Monday evening at 6pm at the same site, Ivy Hill Park adjacent to Seton Hall University. In deference to the spectators who came out in the rain on Saturday no admission fee will be charged.
