The coaches Seeding Committee released its’ seeds and early round pairings in preparation for the start of the 2018 Essex County Boys Soccer Tournament. This year’s play shall have thirty-one schools represented. The top seed was awarded to Montclair followed by Millburn (2), Seton Hall Prep (3), West Orange (4), East Side (5), Livingston (6), Montclair Kimberley (7) and Glen Ridge (8). These top eight teams have “byes” until the tournament’s main draw, the First Round, scheduled to be played on or by Thursday, October 18.
Two Preliminary Rounds will be played to reduce the remaining twenty-three teams to the eight needed to fill out the First Round.
The Quarterfinals will be played at the higher seed on or by Saturday, October 20. Livingston shall host the Semifinals on Thursday, October 25th with the championship final set for Millburn on Saturday, October 27.
