The Essex County Girls Tennis Tournament is set to begin competition on Tuesday, September 19 at the Althea Gibson Tennis Center in Branch Brook Park. Sixteen teams have entered the tournament with the first serves set for 8:00am on Tuesday.
The field is set with Montclair Kimberly Academy hold the top spot in the seedings, followed by Newark Academy, Millburn and Livingston.
The First Round will be competed in the morning followed by the Quarterfinals in the afternoon.
Teams that don’t advance in the First Round are seeded into the Consolation Bracket for further competition.
The semifinals and finals are scheduled to be played at the same site on Saturday, September 23.
