Mt St Dominic Academy twice came back from deficits to wrest the Essex County Softball Tournament championship from Cedar Grove. The Mount was down 3-0 on Saturday, prior to game suspension due to wet conditions, and again 6-3 at the start of Monday’s make-up.

However, timely hitting brought the Lions back to finally capture the championship by a score of 9-7.
