The Essex County Basketball Tournaments completed their quarterfinal rounds on Saturday and have set their match-ups for this week’s Semifinal Rounds.
The Boys Tournament plays on Tuesday evening at West Orange High School.
In the Quarterfinals, Immaculate Conception (1) defeated Payne Tech (8) and East Orange (4) held off Central (5).
East Orange and Immaculate face off at 5pm on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, for the lower half of the bracket it was Irvington (2) winning over East Side (7) while Seton Hall Prep (3) eliminated Columbia (6).
Seton Hall plays Irvington in the 7pm game.
The Girls Tournament plays on Wednesday evening at Weequahic High School.
In the Quarterfinals University (1) defeated West Essex (8) and West Orange (5) upended Nutley (4).
West Orange and University face off at 5pm on Wednesday.
It was Immaculate Conception (3) over Caldwell (6) and East Orange (2) defeating Columbia (10).
Immaculate and East Orange square off at 7pm.
