The top four seeds have advanced to the semifinal round of the 2018 Essex County Girls Tennis Tournament. The early rounds, competed on Thursday, saw Millburn (1), Livingston (2), Newark Academy (3) and Montclair Kimberley Academy (4) move on to Saturday’s tournament match ups.
The competition continues Saturday at the Althea Gibson Tennis Center in Branch Brook Park with a scheduled starting time of 10:00am. In the semifinals Montclair Kimberley will face Millburn while at the same time Newark Academy plays Livingston.
Following the main draw’s semifinals the final of the Consolation Tournament bracket will have Caldwell and Glen Ridge in competition.
The Tournament Final is schedule Saturday for a 2pm starting time.
