The tournament seedings were correct for both the Boys, and Girls 2013 Essex County Soccer Tournaments. For both tournaments the top four seeds have advanced to the Semifinal Round.

In the Boys Quarterfinals, played on Wednesday, top-seeded Seton Hall Prep defeated Caldwell, 3-0, and will play Millburn, the fourth seed. Millburn moved past Irvington (12) by a score of 4-1. Montclair (2) advanced past West Orange (7) by a 3-0 score and faces third seeded Livingston who edged by East Side, on penalty kicks, 1-0. The Semifinal Doubleheader will be played at Millburn on Saturday, October 19th with the Montclair vs. Livingston game at 5pm followed by Seton Hall vs. Millburn, scheduled for 7pm.

The Girls Quarterfinals were also completed on Wednesday with Montclair (1) winning over West Essex (9) by a 4-0 score and now faces Glen Ridge (4) who defeated Millburn (5) 1-0. The other half of the bracket has Nutley (2), who moved past Mt St Dominic Academy (7) by a 3-0 score going against Livingston (3) who defeated Caldwell (6) 4-0. The Girls Semifinal Doubleheader will be played at Belleville, also on Saturday evening. The Livingston vs Nutley match is set for 5pm and Montclair vs. Glen Ridge will follow at 7pm.
