West Essex, seeded first, defeated Verona (4) by a score of 16-4 to advance to the final of the 2014 Essex County Girls Lacrosse Tournament. Their opponent will be 3rd seeded Glen Ridge who upset the second seed, Montclair, 17-11, on Saturday to reach the championship round. The final will be played at Verona on Saturday, May 10th at 12:30pm as the first game of the girls-boys championship doubleheader.
